Top 5 Christmas Movies!
It's that time of the year everyone and although it's not nerdy I thought this top five should reflect the Holiday season, so without further delay my top 5 Christmas movies!
5. Elf - Elf become a holiday classic almost instantly, and anymore you can't avoid this movie during the holiday season. With that said, it is a great movie with something for the whole family to enjoy, and Will Ferrell and the rest of the cast does an amazing job in this movie. I would go as far as saying that this is my favorite Will Ferrell movie overall as well.
4. Santa Claus is Comin' to town! - This movie is one of those old classics you watch every year with your family, and for good reason. It's the origin story of Santa, what's not to love and it has the best named villian possibly ever: Burgermeister Meisterburger that alone makes it in my top 5.
3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas - I want to specify the animated version I honestly don't care much for the live action version (you can only take so much Jim Carrey). The animated version however is a classic with an awesome narration and the original Dr. Suess art style that makes it a must watch.
2. The Muppet Christmas Carol - It's the Muppets doing Charles Dickens' classic Christmas story......what's not to love? This is a Christmas must, seriously if I don't watch this movie every year it just doesn't feel like Christmas. If you haven't see it go watch it, now....seriously (I'll wait).
And my number 1 Christmas movie is..........
Seriously did you watch The Muppet Christmas Carol? Yes? Ok then you can know.....
1. It's a Wonderful Life - This movie could make my top 5 movies of all time let alone top 5 Christmas movies. It's long and old but the movie has held up well all these years and I make sure to watch it every year with out fail and always will. If you haven't seen this one, gather up you family pop some corn and watch it now!
We'll there you have it the list of my top 5 Christmas movies. Makes sure to check back in Sunday for this week's match-up and vote on our Facebook or Twitter pages! Happy Holidays everyone!
